Small & Big

<--the Kid

AND

the Man-->

Boys have this general casual outfit from childhood to adulthood--T-shirt, jeans, sneakers. They don't have a wide variety of clothing, unlike the girls. A man's clothing will just have that "wow" factor when it's designer made. But it's a good thing how they are able to make themselves stand out and follow trends despite the limited variety of clothing that they have.

The kid is wearing the Vans type of shoes. Vans is an American based manufacturer of sneakers, BMX shoes, snowboarding boots, and other shoe types catering primarily to the skateboarder/surfer/snowboarder youth market. They also sell apparel and accessories catering to this same youth market. I would consider it a fad because it was popular for just a short time. It isn't a Reject yet because i can still see people around wearing it; i would say it's in the middle of Peak and Decline in the Cycle Chart. Personally, i find it a little stylish and it's comfortable to wear. I still even have mine, the black-and-white checkered with cherry design.

The man is wearing the Classic White Tee and a Scarf. T-shirts were originally worn as undershirts. Now T-shirts are worn frequently as the only piece of clothing on the top half of the body. According to the Cycle Chart, i believe it's at the Peak. I'd say it's a very trendy piece of clothing because a lot can be done with it. Like what the Man did, he put over a Scarf, a Dog Tag Bling, and a Cap. The Scarf is one of the trends for women last year. But back in the time of Ancient Rome, it started as a man's fashion accessory which they knotted to a belt or wore around the neck. Women immediately followed the trend and stuck to it, which is probably why it's more associated with women's fashion. In the present day, it has become so versatile in such way that it can be worn in different ways, varied in color, design and style.
