Boutique Store – Rockwell
This store is a boutique clothes and accessories store. They sell limited edition items and accessories. The layout of the shop is very unique in terms of display and the use of merchandising. They sell and display things you wouldn’t normally see in other stores. This gives them an edge because their market has to visit them to be able to purchase their products. The lifestyle of their target would be very unique at character, always wanting the need to be a cut above, and a risk taker in terms of starting trends. To be a customer of something that is not yet mainstream would make the person very bold and daring. Does this strategy work? I think yes, because just the visual merchandising of the stores already communicates authenticity. A store where stocks are one of a kind. The draws give a very creative language. Customers already know they will spot something unique.
